Most people start training to look better, but over time you realise that you change alot more than just your appearance. Every rep, set and minute on the cardio machine teaches you how to push through discomfort, build consistancy and a mindset to get better.
The great thing about the gym is that you can’t fake progress. You either show up, lift the weights and stay patient, or you don’t. Showing up even if you’re tired or unmotivated is a small building block that over a consistant period of time will create an iron-mindset.
Another few things the gym teaches you is; emotional control and trusting the process, which are very important things for evolving as a person, and the confidence these abilities bring, will help you in all parts of your daily life.
